There are three main elements to the Alumni's online chess activities.
Firstly, we run three online teams in the 2020 World Chess Championships. Secondly, we have friendly online matches with fellow university chess alumni groups, most recently, Durham University Alumni. Thirdly, our Online Chess Secretary, Tom Thorpe organises a number of Twitch Streams for public viewing.
The next scheduled stream is being planned around December 2022-January 2023, a showdown between the Warwick Chess 2200+ Club and the Alumni 2200+ Club.
A future friendly match with Bristol University Alumni is in the works.
